A top aide to ex-President Bill Clinton is warning British Prime Minister Tony Blair that his close association with President Bush could hurt him politically.
"The U.S. is about to enter a very contentious political phase as our presidential campaign hots up," warned trusted Clinton advisor Sidney Blumenthal, in quotes reported by London's left-wing Mirror newspaper in its Thursday edition. "Bush intends to exploit 9/11 and that is going to be used against him," Blumenthal said he told the British leader in a private meeting.
"It is going to become intense to the extent that any foreign leader who associated himself with Bush's political goals will become an object of controversy," the one-time White House damage controller told Blair, adding, "He will be an indirect target."
Blumenthal delivered the warning while Mr. Clinton himself was in London, attending a centenary celebration held at Britain's Parliament commemorating the creation of the Rhodes scholarship.
Blair also attended the ceremony, along with former South African president Nelson Mandela. It's not clear whether Blair and Clinton discussed Blumenthal's warning.
Clinton's wife, New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, was also in London Thursday promoting her book, "Living History."

I knew it was Sydney Blumenthal before I even clicked on the title. I knew it. Good old Syd.

In other words, Sid warned Blair that Clinton has a file on him and unless he dances to Bill's tune, that file will become public.

Sid Vicious gets a meeting with Tony Blair? I don't think so.

'Very contentious'? It'll be a cake walk. The Dims might as well sit this one out.

With Hillary serving on the Armed Services Committee and getting intelligence briefings by the CIA and Pentagon, just how smart is that when her soul-mate is dragging her to foreign countries to meet with Marxist thugs to stratagize the global ass whipping of Bush, the return of Clinton to the Whitehouse, and the sale of fresh US intellegence?
Me thinks there are some real grounds for feeding Hillary some disinformation in order to bust her when it surfaces in some Mosque in Syria.

"Bush intends to exploit 9/11 and that is going to be used against him," Blumenthal said he told the British leader in a private meeting. Blair knows Bush a lot better than El Sid knows Bush. I'm sure he just said "okay, Sid, thanks for visiting" then asked his aides "whose stupid bloody idea was that to have that nutjob in for a visit?"

You could add some flavor to this discussion...

Sid is an effin little wise-ass punk. He should be beat within an inch of his life, dressed in biker regalia, and tossed into a gay bar in Hamburg where the patrons have been drinking libations spiked with amphetamines and PCP.

Someone needs to put Sid's bow tie on his hat and spin it.

Sid Blumenthal is still taking directions from B-J Clinton.
So, Clinton has him 'warn' Blair to stay in line, or suffer the consequences, while he plays statesman and can say he never said anything.
Clinton is not only speaking out against our President, but he is actively organizing and working against his success, too.

"It is going to become intense to the extent that any foreign leader who associated himself with Bush's political goals will become an object of controversy," the one-time White House damage controller told Blair, adding, "He will be an indirect target." The Democrat "politics of personal destruction" is now going to be exported to the leaders of other sovereign nations in a Pyrrhic victory for Democrats at home?
Remember, it was Bill Clinton who said, "Republicans have a 'destruction machine,' we don't have a 'destruction machine.'"
It was also Clinton's non-existent "destruction machine" that ousted Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu in favor of Ehud Barak over a gift scandal when James Carville led Barak's campaign.
Now the Democrats are going to take down Blair in their attempt to regain the White House?

Blair was elected Prime Minister by copying Clinton's image of the youthful president who dares to dream the impossible dream. Then, he grew up... unlike Clinton. And the Clintons had always thought that Bush's number one international ally would have been Vicente Fox, not Tony Blair. Having Bush and Blair tag-team Europe puts a wrench in all of Hillary's schmoozing. The legacy of 911 is that the world stage changed, but Hillary and Bill are still playing the same act.

Sid is a hateful man. Its him and his ilk of the Klinton administration which is responsible for 911, yet he impunes those who do something about it.

Can you imagine Sid pulling that on Maggie Thatcher? She'd have had him sliced open in the belly and laid out for the Faulkland Island penguins to eat his entrails while he screamed about FBI files and Matt Drudge.
Pretty much close to how all Clinton toadies end up anyhoo. Just ask them all. Cuomo is coping with things just nicely. Maybe Sid is doing this in order to buy another week's worth of metabolic function?

I wonder one thing when it comes to the Clintons. They are running low on the toadie punk bullpen. They have left most of their staffers heaped on the side of the highway like roadkill.
Where are they getting fresh meat to do their bidding? There is not much left after Sid.
