brilliant observation, and a good argument against same-sex marriages: in very short order, people of the same sex will be getting hitched for reasons of convenience and entitlement grabbing, with sexual activity not even being an issue. the result? absolute freaking chaos for society. Because, very quickly, there will be no onus on these unions--we're just doing it to milk the system, to get our share, etc. Chaos, freaking chaos.

This is already happening with straight people, especially for immigration reasons. I can't remember what state it was in, but a bunch of Pakistanis just got busted for being in fake marriages for the purposes of getting citizenship.

Short of putting a camera in the bedroom to see if they're actually doing it, I don't know how you can stop fraud like this.

Your totally right. I think the recent ruling by the Supreme Court is even worse than it sounds. Some gays are already crowing about the increased access to children (pedofiles) they are going to have. See it here.
