Long sentences means they have Israeli blood on their hands. Of course terrorist Dahlan wants to release his buddies, making an excuse why.
This reminds me of a scene in Monty Python ("The Life of Brian"), the last scene, where the Roman guards come to release Brian and ask who is Brian. Everyone starts to answer that they are Brian and should be released off their crosses.
