My point exactly, and we're not Sparta. We are in many respects a softer nation (thanks to the Liberals) and I would not send my son to die for Liberia ( a hopeless case) where there are no national interests at stake, while we are already up to our necks in Afghanistan and Iraq. Maybe I would be for it, if we weren't dying in and trying to rebuild two other countries. Iraq and Afganistan are hopless enough, we don't need troops in the middle of a West African civil war.
