I was talking to someone in a class last week who had been in a bookstore where "SHE" was signing the night before - the line was pretty long, but to actually get your book signed, you had to have picked up a slip earlier in the day. Nobody told the people who were waiting in line, that, though, so when they found out they had waited all that time for nothing, there was a public scene. How unfortunate.

They did this on purpose, having extra people show up thinking the will get a book signed looks good on the evening news.
