Here is the latest brief video from communist/terrorist-state North Korea. It can be seen at: http://news.tbs.co.jp/asx/news776532_7.asx
It was taken today (2 July 2003) from North Korean TV (Pyongyang) yesterday and relayed by the Japanese TBS Network in Tokyo.
The streaming video is 'voiced over' in Japanese and lasts a little over 45 seconds.
A sea of North Korean military officers are shown shouting 'death to the United States', a North Korean top general (Cho Myon Rok) who had been 'missing' for 68 days is now shown 'surfacing' in a speech, and finally, North Korean TV's announcer threatens nuclear war upon the United States if they dare 'isolate North Korea through blockade.'

it is as if they are trying to provoke something just to seem important. They are small potatoes and they know it. we would ahve the country vaporized before their jet even hit our airspace.

I see the NK brass is still doing Jenny Craig.

I joke not. A few weeks ago when I had the 'privilege' of watching several hours of live North Korean TV from a frontline location in South Korea with a portable PAL (D/K) band -version TV set, I witnessed a small North Korean "public service TV show" by the Party, where they were demonstrating to the masses how to cook various grasses and bark to get nutrients out of them. Sad more than funny.

My Japanese is a little crusty. But let me try to translate:
Female voice over first crowd shot: "All of you have gathered here are smaller. Much smaller!"
MILITARY CROWD SHOT IN UNIFORMS
Female voice over second crowd shot: "Small! Very small! Tiny! All of you! Clap if you are smallest!"
MILITARY CROWD CLAPPING:
Male TV commentator: "Ah ha! Ah ha! Leader Kim Jong is huge! Bigger than any man in whole country! Bigger than any Americans! Leader Kim has biggest penish on planet!

In a related story North Korea announces that they have developed new nuclear technology that allows them to keep up to seven microphones on at one time. Sources indicate that before the end of 2003 it may be possible for north Korea to keep 15 to 20 microphones on at one time.

I wonder if there is something 'subliminal' or 'compensatory' in the Dear Leader being able to 'keep up' several microphones at one time. Only his hairdresser would know.... hmmm....
Seriously, thanks for checking out the video on TBS showing North Korean TV yesterday. It is shocking and amazing for any newcomer to see.
What an odd experiment in human depravity that whole nefarious, bankrupt and chilling Potemkin Village.

I wonder if Iran's Murdering Mullahs are now paying the NK's to do their two step/screaming mantras to draw attention from Iran.
What repulsive and pitiful piles of human waste these NK commies are!

RE #13
This time, I did catche the video in time. Seems that they are repeating the latest version of propaganda, which promises "ruthless revenge" against Americans.:)

Actually there is a mike for each radio in North Korea.

Re #14
Iran and N. Korea have a really close relationship. For example, a lot of senior officers of Iranaian Revolutionary Guards were trained by N. Korea. It was reported in the account of an Iranian defector who held a senior position(may have been a general) in the Revolutionary Guard. N. Korea has been also helping Iran's missile program according to a N. Korean defector who used to be a missile technician. Their senior government officials visit each other regularly.
No doubt they are coordinating their moves as best as they can.

Thanks for posting this. A lot of people are not aware of this long and cozy relationship between the NK head commie thugs and the Murdering Mullahs of Iran. The missile linkage is a very bad situation.
So there is probably coordination to get the NKs to distract attention from Iran like they tried to do with Iraq is as you noted.
