Isnt' that actually the name of a city in California? I know there are a couple of cities close to the border that mix-n-match the names. I think Calexico was the other.

Mexicali is on the Mexican side.
Calexico in on the California side.
Both are in the Imperial valley, where the predicted high temperature today is 108F.
