Well, today was a busy one at work so our virtual tour of Arizona has been delayed
just a leetle beet, eh? With the Independence Day weekend coming up, I thought Id list some of the events going on statewide and link to some resources for finding out whats going on and where its happening in the Grand Canyon State!
Fireworks to cap colorful Fourth events around the state
Lateef Ellington, of Phoenix, holds his three-year-old daughter Tanicka in front of the Arizona State Court Building in downtown phoenix at last year's Fourth of July celebrations.

Prescott
"Frontier Days" in Prescott features old-time Americana, such as rodeo dances Thursday through Saturday from 8 p.m. to midnight and the "World's Oldest Rodeo" (a name registered by the U.S. Patent Office in 1985), including competition at 7:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday. On Friday at 9 p.m., fireworks will be visible from the Rodeo Grounds, and at 9 a.m. Saturday, Gov. Janet Napolitano will attend a horse-drawn parade from Courthouse Plaza.
Bisbee
Coaster races down Tombstone Canyon will be Friday's main attraction, starting at 8:30 a.m. Mining exhibitions will be given at 2 and 4 p.m. on Brewery Avenue, and fireworks are planned at about 8 p.m. in the Warren District.

Jinx, you're just drivin' me nuts out there, ya know?
Bisbee - combination artist colony, ghost town, tourist trap, hidden hideaway, all rolled into one. I fell in love with the place back in '85, and brought Missus around to my thinkin' in '89.
She still talks about wanting to go back.

Sounds like you guys out there will be having one big celebration this weekend. Sounds really cool! Just watch out for those fireworks - it's no fun getting hurt from them.
