Isn't it amazing that the absolute simplicity of the administration's plan is missed by so many. One way or another Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc are going out of business. They will decide whether it is dead or it is alive. Either way the Middle East is headed for peace.

Right, just like the peace in Iraq.

Where Bush was politically correct by not allowing US troops to enter mosques.

Lo and behold - some Syrian Arabs blew up a mosque the other day while teaching a bomb-making class (in the mosque) then threatened to blow up the hospital that treated them. Now the US is being blamed by the Islamobaddies for firing a missile at the Mosque, and the Arabs will be handed a PR victory if US Marines do start searching mosques via video of the searches appearing on Arab sattelite TV.

Bin Laden is still hanging out in a cave, Saddam is still alive, and Arafat is still alive. We are lazily installing crooked Baathist opportunists in the "new" Iraq government, Afghanistan is beset by regrouped Taliban attacks, Iraq is looking more like another Soviet Afghanistan, with us playing the role of the Soviets, federal homeland security money to states is distributed equally in a "share the spoils" method so that Montana gets more per capita than New York, and we have given $330 million of our tax money in the last month to some Palestinian terrorists, and we're training and rearming them, too, even though they said they aren't planning on having a "civil war" by disarming Hamas, al Aqsa Martyrs, Islamic Jihad, PFLP, DFLP, PFLP-GC, etc. In face, many palestinian police moonlight as al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades gunmen which is willfully ignored by George Bush and Colin Powell, who instead praise abu Mazen the holocaust denier for his "great effort" while the real great effort is by the IDF, since the bombing and shooting attacks haven't stopped - they just haven't killed enough Jews at once for the media to notice.

Peace in the middle east, from the Roadmap and the Bush white house? Either you are very naive, or you don't follow middle east news very closely.
