I noticed the same thing a couple years back when some democRAT pol from Lousianna got busted for something. The whole news story on CNN and MSNBC neglected to mention party affiliation. The same was true for their online spinnings of the story.

The same can be said for crime stories, unless its a white on black story, race is not an angle. Its funny how you can bet good money on the race/sex of the perp by how the mainstream media open the story.

I wouldn't give too much weight to this. After all, isn't it a well-known fact that a RAT politician in Louisiana is required to have at least 3 federal indictments on his record?
