There is also another reason our taxes are so bad. That can be placed squarely on the shoulders of class warfare. So many people think it's okay to tax the other guy. But it doesn't work that way. When taxes are raised on one group of people eventually they are raised on everyone. If people would just stand together and say NO we've had enough we could finally do something about our tax system. But as long as there are people out there who are stupid enough to think they actually benefit from raising taxes on "the rich" I don't see any hope in reforming the system.
