But those rat droppings are smaller than if the real Rats were in charge. So be a good boy, don't ask question and vote GOP every election. < /sarcasm >.

They don't care what gets passed, whether it's spending for Rx or spending for foreign aid, etc as long as it is 'their guy' that is doing the spending.
What good is winning the election if Republican pass liberal and socialist policies?

There you go again, typical Bush hater. All you see is the glass half empty of rat droppings, while the rest of the bots see the glass as half full of rat droppings.
What would you rather have? An empty glass, or a glass half full of rat turds?

All we can do is elect the most conservative possible and let the chips fall where they may. If the conservative revolution, which now has congress and the presidency, continues apace, we will be presented with more conservative pols to vote for as time goes on.
I know it sucks to have to always take the long view, but this liberal ocean liner had a lot of momentum. It's going to take a while longer to stop it, and even longer to turn it around. When it IS turned around, we can clean up a lot of this stuff in relatively short order.
p.s. That's my positive spin. When I'm feeling negative I'm sometimes sure we're too far gone and we're swimming against the tide. But that attitude isn't really helpful in producing the kind of change we want.
