**Read my post. you are irrelevant in our system. It does not matter if youre ilk votes or not.**

I don't think this is helpful. Why not give some constructive steps on how to get people involved with sending helpful messages to the administration on how to convey conservative ideals to the centrists?

One of the messages Bush stated was that he wanted to promote a Culture of Life instead of a Culture of Death. I understand that PBA and banning Stem Cell Research are but small steps but I think they are positive steps forward. This in combination with groups such as AbortionNO.org which shows the true genocide eventually sink in.

The Genocide pictures are shocking while Bush's smiley warm Culture of Life makes them feel oozy and good inside. Might make them think well I can help promote this by voting for Bush. Working together in conjunction is what changes peoples minds. Call it a combination of ShOcK and Awww...^_^

Bush also said he was pro-family but when the Left Wing nutbags went after Santorum I needed some encouragement that he wasn't being abandoned. All I got were comments such as yours and no comforting at all that one of the best Repub Senators wasn't being flushed down the toilet by the Repubs themselves.

Also many were confounded when RNC Racicot met with the Log Cabin Republicans who incidentially have endorsed Democrats over Repubs so don't try to tell me they are loyal party members. This flew in the face of Bush stating on the campaign trail that he would not politicize sexual orientation.

Finally Bush has comforted me himself by stating that marriage is between a man and a woman. I feared he had been corrupted.

Please do tell if my vote for Santorum or my vote for Bush in 2000 was irrelevent? I'm an Independent.

Why don't you try reading my posts. Independents are not fringe voters. Fringies like the Greenies and Libertarians are irrelevant. I tell them they are irrelevant because they are. Independents or Centrists as I call them decide nearly all political races. If you had read my posts on this thread you would have seen the evidence that I presented to back up what I say.

Independents are not ideological people. I post that they vote based on what the candidate will do for him. You then confirm my analysis by listing the specific things that Bush had done to please you. Telling me you are an independent is redundant. Your entire post screams it.

Independents have no fixed views or agendas. They float along content to choose between the offerings of the left and the right. Independents are not chefs... they are restaurant customers. They look at the menus in the windows of the two major Restuarants and eat at the one they like best... today.

Independents decide the future with out creating it.

My point is people on the edges of the political spectrum are irrelevant. The far right and the far left never elect anyone or defeat any one. Read all my posts on this thread. They will give you a clue about the political process and give you some information on how the system works.
