I would agree with you if this young lady was 14, but she's what, about 22-23. At some point, it is time to let them go on their way and trust in the Lord that you have raised a godly child. It is this young lady's time to be salt and light now, she is an adult.

Perhaps my perspective is a bit skewed because my oldest child is only 12. Some days it seems like none of them is more mature than the 3yo, and it's hard to visualize their ever being adults with sense ...
