Please: ALWAYS turn "OFF" the formatting when you use it.

It's no longer a BIG DEAL here on FR. At least a couple revs ago, they implemented a feature that automatically closes any tags left open.

Don't you remember when that was a constant problem? Surely you didn't think everyone had magically become 100% conscientious about closing their tags.

Yeah, I knew they'd addressed that problem, but, when learning HTML, I figure closing all one's tags is a good habit to get into anyway.

LOL. no, but some of us veteran codeheads would become 100% conscientious about
being the first to close someone else's open tags :o)

Oh yeah, I recall that someone once got himself suspended for deliberately leaving dozens of open tags. Of course he was just a puppet, the guy with the brains to think of the prank actually skated.

I actually HAVE been overconscientious about closing my tags, and I guess I did think others were, too. Ha ha ha. I made myself scribble nonsense at the end of my post to make sure I self-corrected.

I know it seems like my ENTIRE posts are scribbled nonsense, but that last post-html part was intentional. hgfjdhgkjgh
