Noam Chomsky, if you can believe it. He said the two political parties are in cahoots. He claims that they make noises and stuff but they actually enact each others' agendas. I think virtually every third party says the same thing. George Wallace coined it, about "not a dime's worth of difference."

But the difference is that Chomsky has the other party actually forwarding the agenda of the opposing party. Wallace (or whoever) just said there wasn't much to differentiate one party from the other, like arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
