It was not a "remake" of "Beverly Hillbillies" that was in the works (remember the motion picture version a few years ago?) but rather one of those "reality shows" in which genuine poor rural people were going to be placed in a mansion and gawked at by the general population as they dealt with unfamiliar circumstances. That nasty little project deserved to die.
