I avoid the apostate church, as well. I am convinced we are in the days of that church: "Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the FALLING AWAY comes first, and that man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition." AntiChrist? He's right around the corner. "And for this reason G-d will send them STRONG DELUSION, that they should believe the lie." I am also of the belief that many Christians won't recognize the AntiChrist when he comes to power. Needless to say; I am no longer convinced that a "pre-trib" rapture will sweep us off the earth BEFORE the tribulation...we really don't deserve it.

who knows what evil?

To: who knows what evil?
A Christian doesnt' ask to flee trouble, only for the courage to endure it. We flee evil, temptations of this world.
But I am of a mind that God has reserved special souls for the coming day of trouble, tough, ready and steadfast.
I don't know if it will be in our lifetime, I don't see how it could be. I do know that when ever that time comes the saints will be weary, but will endure till the end.
