Even if people DID form militias (or what have you) and start a revolt, could we ever hope to succeed? The gov't has all the high-tech weapons and gizmos- the citizens would be out-gunned.
I'm ready for Jesus to come back, myself- He's the only answer to this (and every other) mess we're in. Keep looking up!

You have a point. If we don't revolt, we have no other nation to move to. Utopia does not exist. And, if America is the best nation on the planet, then no American would wish to move to another nation. The Second Coming may be the only answer.

"He's the only answer to this (and every other) mess we're in" I know that you're right of course. But I think about how we are to obey God rather than men. That puts us between a rock and a hard place when the laws of the land begin to make it impossible to obey God. Perhaps I'm being a little dramatic, but that is the way we are headed so I don't think I'm too far out there.

Christ's return is the answer. We are merely stemming the tide, providing more time before the chaos breaks loose, according to Revalation. May we use the time well!

The US government even with it's weapons would be in deep kimchee.

History is full of examples of how powerful, technologically advanced armies have been defeated or fought to a standstill by highly motivated partisans who were fighting for a cause they believed was just. Vietnam, Afghanistan, Chechnya, the Warsaw ghettos, Texas, and the birth of our own nation are all examples of how poorly equipped, poorly trained, but highly motivated people can overcome superior forces. Yes, look to Jesus. But a lot of Jews died praying to God for salvation from the Nazis. Pray, but fight also. As Churchill said, never, never, never surrender! Anyone who is too cowardly to fight for their freedom doesn't deserve it.

If only people would begin to revolt, it would only take 100,000 to win and to replace the existing tyrants. Few shots and few people in jail. Low risk for those who are willing to participate. It's all about money and making the government spend more than it can. I call it the broken glass warfare project.

The gov't has all the high-tech weapons and gizmos- the citizens would be out-gunned. You break their will to use them. And they can't use WMD on population centers. Not all will join them, etc.
It's merely a tactical question.
It is not possible for them to hold such a large territory if a significant number of Americans were to initate armed rebellion, and choose their targets correctly.
But talking about this over a court ruling that upholds the Constitution is extremely stupid.
I merely replied to the idea that you cannot fight and win. Nonsense. It's always possible to win, no matter how unlikely.

I am ready for Jesus to come also, but if we do end up in a revolt, then hold faith in the fact that high-tech weapons can't fight the ground war that will need to be fought and that we the people are much greater than the army of the FEDS. Just look at Iraq, you have a small number of people causing a lot of trouble, are numbers would be much larger and most young people would not be on the side of the goverment. If a million or two people in Iraq were to turn against us right now we would loose a lot of people and about be forced to withdraw. So pray for Jesus and do not fear:
Operation American Freedom!!!
