I guess this did not apply to the South. By the way, Lincoln was a STATIST PIG THAT GOT WHAT HE DESERVED!

I'm no champion of Lincoln, but I do like the quote. And you're right, apparently it didn't apply to the south. And ever since the end of that war the states have lost more and more rights to the central government.
