Sure, but I think that the point is to find a way to transition from fossil fuels to clean, relatively cheap, renewable fuels. We can't connect our cars to the grid while they're moving, so we need to have an onboard fuel source capable of powering cars for at least a 100-mile range, preferably 250 or more. If they can find a way to make it work with hydrogen at a price point within 20% of what we are spending now for fuel costs and within 10% of what we are spending for the car, I think it would be worth it to take it on big time.
