Thanks for asking!
Eye is about to come over my area- or maybe more toward the airport- in a few minutes. That's usually abrupt clearing, and even sunshine, then wind change and more rain. Very dark now- most wind we've had all day, rain blowing off rooftops like white fog and some thunder. Pretty tame as T.S.s go tho. We had about 6" of rain in my neighborhood, some had as much as 8". Spotty power outtages, but no problem with mine.
People went home early when possible- more because of fear of street flooding than anything. We're pretty hard to impress re. tropical weather.Anything over 100mph is taken seriously, but if it's not a big storm businesses stay open and it's pretty much life as usual in the city.
Lower parishes have flooding roads, etc. Some evacuations because of that, but it's mostly just a gray, stormy day.

Here in New Orleans, its fairly dry now, but we're getting some scary wind.
Lights have flickered a few times.
