I agree it is better than most, but it is slowly slipping thru our fingers. The people do have a choice. We officially left the Republic in 1933 and became a democracy/socialist system.In short the Constitution gives us that choice. Article IV, Section 3, Clause 1 or 2. In the beginning we were a Republic which comes under Clause 1, but as stated above we gave up being responsible for ourselves and chose a new money system and to be taken care of from cradle to grave.It will take some effort, understanding and make some changes to get back to a Republic in form.
