If you're going to be so predictable, this isn't going to be entertaining any longer.

By the way, marriages were good enough for a 12 year old when people living to the age of 50 was old.

Thus your thesis is : The longer we live, the slower we mature. Prove that. Demonstrate it with facts.

Do you mean mentally, or culturally or emotionally?

Are you asserting there were MORE situations for mental, cultural or emotional growth 1500 years ago - despite being in smaller, rural, less populated environments with no ready idea exchange?

(Really. You're making this way too easy...)

What does making a living for yourself have to do with the age of consent. Unless you're entertaining prostitution as a career choice? Which is fine by me.....

Yes, DA, people were forced to group up emotionally at an earlier age "back in the day". And culturally, they didn't have the stimuli they do today. We live in a society with much more to learn and absorb than we did 100 years ago. My mother married at 19, I married at 21 and in hindsight feel that I was way too emotionally/culturally immature.

The percentage of college educated people in our country has drastically changed.

Why does it not surprise me you are for legalized prostitution (read demeaning of women). I'd not sell my body for $1 million, but I'd give it freely to the man that I love...that's called principals, ethics and values....you might want to try them...really easy to wake up and look yourself in the mirror with respect.

Your arguments are equally elementary, DA. The same old crap peddled by the immoral for years to justify their behavior. See, when you are a morally upstanding person, you don't have to justify your behavior.
