Yeah, but aren't the elderly poor on medicare too? I thought Medicaid was for those too young to be in medicare, but I stand to be corrected if I'm wrong! I mean people are saying they "can't afford" drugs, are granny and pop-pop lying to the American people?

They can be on Medicare and Medicaid simultaneously - Medicaid generally pays the Medicare premium for these dually enrolled individuals.
