But somehow, it'll all be the gun's fault.===

Just for matter of discussion. One point.
If we ban drugs which isn't wrong if lays of shelf. But it is man who put them in his mouth.
Same way gun isn't wrong if lays on shelf. But it is man who shoot another from it.
So man uses drugs. Man uses gun. Why first is banned but second isn't?

You just don't get it. It's not the gun or the drugs...it's the manufacturer of the shelf. If the shelf-maker (probably owned by some rich guy) had not made a shelf that allowed drugs on it ...this would have never happened. The shelf-maker should be sued and made to pay, and required to put warning labels, and smart pill technology on all their products.

drug possession is legal?

okay, exchange "gun" with "baseball bat" and reread your statement.

My first post, although I registered more than a year ago.
I had just dropped my wife and in-laws off at Macy's and was trying to find a cross street that crossed Market, and wound up on the block of Turk where the shooting occurred. I was waiting at the red light on Turk at Taylor and had just finishing rolling up the passenger side window and locking the passenger side door, which my wife had left unsecured, when I heard about six evenly spaced shots. The people at the far end of the block ran toward my end, and some ducked down between the parked cars. That is not just the worst part of town, it is probably the worst block in that part of town.

What is it that you don't understand about the second ammendment?

Can you find a constitutional protection for getting f***ed up on drugs?

A "drug" is just a chemical. Some chemicals are useful in treating ailments, some just alter one's perceptions. Some are useful but can be dangerous in the wrong hands or if not administered in a controlled environment. Some are available over the counter, some require a "permission" slip from a doctor, and some are banned outright.
