When we accept Christ we are filled with his spirit and complete....
I went to a pentacostal church and got to know people who claimed to have been baptised with the holy spirit...
They were some of the worst people I ever knew !
There have also been many pentacostal evangelist on T.V. that have been down right criminals and perverts ...
Just my opinion from my own life experiences as a born-again christian.
I also know many Methodist who truely love the lord, and Catholics, and Lutherans,and Baptists, and well it is a pretty long list...God knows who his children are and they go to many different churches. And they are God's church.

I know and agree with what you say. But the power to live the Christian life comes from the baptism of the Holy Spirit. When Christ comes to live in our lives, we get a deposit of the Holy Spirit but there is a fullness experience that we need as well. The early Christians received it at Pentecost. You will always find wierdos in every religion but they have to answer to God for their ways. There are, indeed, many born again Christians in all denominations. I was Methodist but found I had to leave. I'm in a good, solid, balanced pentacostal fellowship now and it's truly inspiring and biblically sound. Our pastor watches over his flock carefully and won't allow 'weirdness'. He's cautious, sometimes too cautious, but it serves us well. It doesn't matter in the long run what denomination you belong to. It's what you do with Jesus Christ that matters.

The list of offenses to God from His perspective knows no boundaries of denomination.

It is logical that those who emphasize being led of The Spirit will be more assaulted of the enemy in their areas of weakness.

IMHO, the pride, rigidity, narrowness, blindness in the other denominations, is AT LEAST AS serious.
