And I happen to think you will be damned for eternity. Not because you're not Jewish but because of your infernal bigotry.

Easy there.... Just because you don't believe what is written in the Bible doesn't give you the right to attack those who do. Why don't you just move on to another thread if you cannot participate in a civil discussion?

"If Bush were REALLY a born again Christian, why does he elevate homosexuals in positions of power and authority?"

Because he is president of a diverse nation. I agree homosexuality is immoral. It doesn't appear that he's appointed any to positions from which they can significantly impact the political/moral landscape.

Also if Bush is a born again Christian, WHY did he open pandoras box and okay EMBRYONIC stem cell research AFTER he sent out NUMNEROUS letters to concervative organizations saying he would NOT okay this?

You do realize that Bush only authorized continuing research on the existing stem cell cultures but did not allow the killing of any more embryoes to obtain stem cells, right?

the anti-christ Rev.13:18 ...I know the spirit of anti-christ is alive and well today.
I can't write good like you...Where do you think I am wrong ?

"This is exactly the sort of warped ideology that led to 2,000 years of Christian persecution which ended in the gas chambers of Auschwitz."

Excuse me, did you even READ what was in post 4? You even copied/pasted this from the post "But it will be in God's chosen way and in his chosen timetable, not through political or military action."

Get that? No political or military action. Do you understand? With no political or military action, there wouldn't have been an Auschwitz.

There has been no '2,000 years of Christian persecution'. It's just a fantasy you've made up to suit your own agenda.

That's a shockingly stupid comment.

Wrong again, Zakie. Hitler, the SS, and the Nazi party were anti-Christian. In fact, they openly worshiped pagan Gods...Norse Gods to be exact. The Jews in Europe were wiped out by the forces of evil. Now, people hate Jews because of people like you. How does it feel?

You think anything we do here on earth has anything to do with God's will?

I poorly phrased my question; I should have asked if you actually think anything we do here on easrth can change or influence God's will.

Glad to see that someone else is seeing the patterns of Israel and weather.

I would suspect that were we to ever show direct action against Israel with out military we'd see BIG earthquakes in the San Andreas fault and that one around Memphis.

This is a fascinating post. Where did you get all of the references? I mean it, it's really fascinating--a little compendium of scholarship that could keep me reading for hours.

,,, I certainly would give a wide berth to your brand of "religion."

My "religion". Hmm..well, I guess you, as a Jew, would not acccept Christianity (or Islam, or Buddhism, or Wicca, or whatever) as a religion because it is not Judaism. Fair enough. You are, of course, free in this country to practice your own brand of bigotry.

As a Christian, I am taught that only those who have accepted their salvation through Jesus Christ will see the Kingdon of Heaven.

I--a Christian--cannot make exceptions for Jews (or Muslims, or Buddhists, etc), just as you, a Jew, cannot make exceptions for Chiristians (or Muslims, or Buddhists, etc). It would therefore be false of me to say otherwise.

However, a Christian does not prosecute others. Any atrocities committed in the name of Christianity were not committed by Christians, irrespective of what the authors of those atrocities claimed. Simply, Christians don't do that. I amy try to teach you about Christ, and invite you to worship with me; just as you may invite me to synagogue with you. No offense should be taken in either instance.

I make every effort to be civil; and would ask that you conduct yourself in the same way. And grow up; noone is persecuting you.

Yes, Dave S

Abraham indeed had two sons.

Isaac Is a son of the Covenant and Ishmael is Not a son of the Covenant.

The Lord GOD chose to Bless the bloodline/seed of Isaac (The Son of Promise - The Son of Sacrifice) to bring forth The Messiah...Yeshua/Jesus The Christ.

GOD did Not choose Ishmael, as his bloodline was corrupted by Cain and Amalek.

The Word Of GOD is very clear about this.

Read: Genesis/Beresheit Chapter 21, Verse 12 where GOD chooses Isaac over Ishmael.

God also Blesses Ishmael and promises to make him a great nation.

Ishmael and Hagar his mother were Egyptian Pagans.

Genesis Chapter 22, Verses 12 to 19 where GOD allows Isaac to Live and Blesses Abraham the Hebrew/Jew with His Eternal Covenant, because Abraham OBEYED GOD!

Please Re-read Verses 17 and 18.

Also Read the Account of Jacob and Esau: Genesis/Beresheit Chapter 25, Verses 21 to 34 where GOD chooses Jacob over Esau, to be the bloodline/seed that will bring forth The Messiah Yeshua/Jesus.

Remember that it is: EL SHADDAI - The Almighty Living GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob/Israel who chooses how HIS Plan will be carried out.

Palestinians are the seed of Abraham too since they are Arabs descended from Ishmael. Don't they qualify for God's promise too?

There are a lot of people who are genuinely saved, yet never touch a Bible. I'll sadly admit to being one of those for a long time myself. Luckily, I've now figured out that you CANNOT lead the Christian life you should without the Bible. That is God's primary way of speaking to us and we need that time with Him.

I hope Bush is truly saved, but he shows zero biblical awareness whatsoever that I've been able to tell.

The bible is also very, very clear that Israel is to be a theocracy. Today's Israel is anything but that.

The covenant in which the land was given to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, was UNCONDITIONAL and permanent. So on the issue of land, that's irrelevant. The land is theirs, actually far more land than what they currently occupy.

"I had quite different expectations for Bush. I wonder if he's just biblically ignorant or what."

Matchett, you're certainly entitled to your beliefs regarding antichrist, but I don't buy into them at all. Please don't address those voluminous posts to me that take up eight or ten screens. And yes, I'll freely admit that I'm ignorant on far too much of the Bible. Not on this issue, though. The land belongs to Israel, as everyone is gonna find out in the end.

Thanks...

WHAT?

Look, why would God be mad at us over this land dispute?

Is it not the Jews and Palestinians who constantly try to draw us into their battle?

If they are so concerned God's promise to Abraham, this division of land and our role in it, then why don't the Jews simply handle it themselves instead of pointing the finger at innocent third parties they begged for help?

Excuse me but didnt Abraham have two sons. The Jews descended from one and the arabs from the other. Doesnt that make the arabs co-heirs?

See post 54. Simcha7 gave a perfect biblical explanation as to why the Arabs are definitely not co-heirs.
