The British military has ordered a suspension of weapons searches in the area of southern Iraq where six soldiers were killed, while a fundamental review takes place of the civilian population's right to carry arms. You'd think the British army would have learned how unpopular weapons confiscations are with the local population at Lexington and Concord.

For the first time I find myself in agreement with the Muslims. Well, actually, I'm against unreasonable search and seizure of property and that includes arms. Given the recent history of the decline of Britain, I'm not at all surprised they don't get it.

Ironic the Brits allow the Iraqis to keep their weapons ... and back home, crimnal thugs as well as the cops are running roughshod over innocent civilians.

Good first step. The second step should be to enlist the locals in ferreting out the Fundies who have been sent in by Iran to stir up trouble. It should be explained to them that the mad mullahs are intent on getting revenge on them and they plan to do that by running the coalition out, and then taking over Iraq. LOL, that'll work better than anything else they could do. It should also be carefully explained that the Iranian people are rising up against the mullahs because they are tired of being enslaved by corrupt masters.
