D.C. Democrats no fans of [Rep] Davis [R, VA] Idea

Prince William's top Republican is getting no thanks from Washington, D.C., Democrats in his attempts to get them a vote in Congress and additional school choice.

Rep. Tom Davis, R-11th District, whose district covers most of Prince William, is entertaining proposals that would give the District of Columbia voting representation in the House. A WTOP radio report this week said one proposal is to expand the House of Representatives from 435 to 437 members with one seat for the District as part of the Maryland delegation and a seat for Utah, which lost a seat to redistricting.
