It will definitely take longer. I don't know how much of the general population is behind them (can't seem to get an accurate figure). Can't have a couple thousand renegades with guns against the rest of the population. They may need to keep up their demonstrations a while longer to gain more support of the people.
Are you talking Iranian population? Earlier you were saying it was a bad idea because of
world opinion.
Sure, if the peaceful method is needed for a bit longer because of Iranian opinion and support- this is worth noting. But what the world thinks about it is largely irrelevent. The democrats and French might be against an armed uprising in Iran but who cares what frogs and jackasses think?
Trav is right, imho. We ought to help these young people in Iran get on equal terms with the thugs and strongarm types in Iran.
