If NAFTA is a Marxist wealth-redistribution scheme, then how do you explain the fact that U.S. companies now export more goods to Canada and Mexico? I find it hard to imagine how Marx would approve of someone making a profit.
The US is a debtor nation, impoting more than it exports.
Marx actually promoted free trade for the west, figuring it would increase the gap between the haves and the have nots. Since real income in the US has actually fallen over the last 20 years, it seems he was right.
