What really bugs me is that you can no longer move your cursor over a poster's screenname and see the number. Why is it that you can't see the number no more?

You still can, you have to leave your cusor there for at least 1.31 seconds for the box to appear. Yours says "Since 1997-12-09".
The box will stay on screen for only 5.13 seconds and then go away.

Oops. I didn't realize what number ya'll were taking about. That one has been replaced by the bar code that was stamped on the back of your head while you were transfixed to your screen.
