You beat me to it. This may indeed be the beginning of the end of this once great country.
The beginning of the end happened in 1973 when the Supreme Court made abortion legal. We're now in the MIDDLE of the end. With all the other Supreme Court rulings (sodomy is legal, virtual child porn is legal, etc), THAT should be apparent.
I know it's hard to deal with the rapid decline of this country, but maybe instead of protesting the Dixie Chicks, some of you could protest the things that REALLY matter. All of these things are happening while you're expending your energy on other, less-important things. "Hold muh beer!"
