Ignore the politics for now. Seek out discipleship training. Then you will be prepared and armored and know how to either defuse the politics or at least which side is right.

But to distance yourself is to let Satan win the battle. That's what Satan wants. Don't let him have it.

Awhile back, a good friend of mine(I believe he's Evangelical Presbyterian) told me "Jesus doesn't care about politics". It really set in with me.

It's tough. Especially with the left wing politics(For the record, I'm Catholic), especially when I know for a fact they are wrong.
