The problem we have at FR especially is that Catholics at FR do not bash Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, rabbis, et al.

Where as the pope is CONSTANTLY bashed (not simply criticized) by certain types of FReepers.

It is so apparent to anyone who follows any religion threads whatsoever.

My point is not that anyone should be free from criticism, but simply that the divisiveness is largely one-sided, and it is anti-Catholic.

Personally, I bash those you mention as well as the pope equally. :) Though I don't do too much bashing of any of them.

Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson are among the most vilified people on FR threads. You must not read many. Conservatives shouldn't be bashing them. Or Israel. Or the Holy Father (I say to Catholic-bashers: LOOK at the leadership and steadfastness of the Church on the issue of abortion.)

That said, a cursory review of threads will find great numbers of "Freepers" bashing Falwell, Robertson, Dr. Laura and anyone who stands up for God and Biblical morality.
