In the EWTN interview, Gibson said he had to "keep it at around 90 minutes." He was refering to the visual intensity of the film, and said "any more than that would make you crazy."

If it is as intense as he says, and he really draws people into the story, then the audience is likely to feel stunned.

Do Not buy a large drink before seeing this masterpiece! (You know what happened last time!!!)
I imagine the soundtrack will be just as moving.
