Hundereds of those arrested in the last [Iranian] riots will be brought to speedy trials in order for the public to witness the decision of Islamic 'justice' on their cases.
Sources within the regieme are confirming the decision made in an extradordinary meeting of the National Security Council to issue and execute death penalties against many of them for 'Spying for the United States,' 'Attempts Against National Security' and 'Armed Action Intending to Overthrow the Islamic State.'
The move intends to go on by a series of public executions and to spread information on the cases of other protestors who are executed within the regieme's penitenciaries.
The Islamic Regieme hopes to increase its policy of Fear and Terror at the approach of the July 9th Student Uprising and National Labor Strike and by this way avoid mass participation in the rallies on that day.
Tens of those arrested have been placed under duress and torture in order to sign confessions on their links to the 'US Secret Services.'
These prisoners are under the special guard of the officers of the Intelligence Directorcrat of Pasdaran which is responding directly to the offices of the regieme's Supreme Leader.

It's so typical of greaseballs around the world to execute innocent people.
Certainly the Iranian ayatollahs cannot be totally ignorant of the contempt with which they are held.

c'mon, no big deal...I'm very thankful when people post important news. A simple reminder about the excerpt guidelines would suffice.

I'm very thankful when people post important newsAnd I'm even more thankful when people who have been here long enough to know the proper posting procedures actually employ them.
A simple reminder about the excerpt guidelines would suffice.
You'd think, wouldn't you? Alas, you'd be wrong...

The Mullahs are cutting their own throats. Unless they can clamp down tight and quick this is going to send things sprialing out of control. And I don't think they have enough influence over the beauracracy or the military to do that.

The most interesting thing about this story is I'd bet some of the condemed really did have links to the "US secret services". At least I hope so. They'll die in the name of freedom for their people in much the same way as some of our ancestors did. Once the freedom spark has been struck it cannot be extinguished. It is a relative freedom though, for now they want a socialist government, socialism is better than sharia I suppose. Every journey begins with a single step, power to the people!

Geez Hellin..... you rightfully bonked me the other day for unnecessary excerpting, and I thanked you and really appreciated the clarification of the sources that we are required to excerpt.
But in this case, I think you must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Yes, it's nicer when people don't excerpt, but you shouldn't chew them out for it. At least they posted this important news, which came from a non-mainstream source... In fact, 99% of us probably never would have found this article on our own.
I completely agree that posting full articles is helpful for all of us who read the articles. But we should also be VERY grateful to those few people who continually seek out and post the news that we would otherwise never see. They are generously taking their own time to post the article for everyone else, and that deserves a THANK YOU (not a butt-whoopin'). :-)
Here's hoping you wake up on the other side of the bed tomorrow morning. And here's hoping for fewer and fewer unnecessary excerpts in the future! ;-)

The mentality of the 8th century being brought to the front page. That should do it! They are declaring war against the population, expect the bloody revolution to begin. The isolated assassinations of mullahs will soon make news. When Reagan armed the Contras, freedom came to Nicaragua. The same can happen in Iran. Iran can be liberated without one American on its soil.

Friday in Iran has come and gone, with no such mass executions. If one looks closely at the article, it is all claims, with no officials quoted.

Iran's days are numbered and it is not a big number.
North Korea's days are numbered and its number's not much bigger.
Similarly: Syria's Lebanon's; Burma/Myanmar's; Rhodesia/Zimbabwe's etceteras, etceteras.
