Consent doesn't apply to minors in the same way they cannot enter into contracts.Wrong. They can consent to sex. They are therefore consenting adults as far as sex is concerned. Keep in mind that in 1800's consent was about 12. Why not go back to that ?

200 years ago there was no term for an adolescent- people went from childhood to an adult as soon as they could. Nowadays we have extended adolescence to about 35!
