Sure. You just can't do it within the confines of the United States of America. However, I don't see why you can't buy a nice island somewhere and make it an exclusive place as private property. You can isolate yourself there and not allow anyone who is not a member of your little club from coming there.

I'd say you can do it if you want to. I suspect you'll have a tough time, though, finding enough people that want to do this to make it succeed as a separate entity. You'd still need supplies, etc.

Well, first, I think that I could take about 45% of the population of the U.S. with me (the percent that thinks homosexuality should be illegal), probably more since abortion and other things would be illegal there.
