The question Colmes asked Coulter without a direct reply:

John Hawkins: Could you give us two or three examples of people on the left who acted unpatriotically during the Iraqi war (or the build up to it) and tell us what they did that was unpatriotic?

Ann Coulter: Better yet, for a complete list just go to the D.N.C. Website, the Screen Actor's Guild membership site, and the op/ed page of the NY Times (minus Bill Safire).

Not exactly, and that is why Coulter didn't bite on Hannity and Colmes.

This fellow asked for names of unpatriotic Democrats. Colmes asked for names of those who were guilty of treason.

There is a huge liability difference between giving names when you are opining about a state of mind and giving names when you are accusing someone of a crime.

To Colmes, she said, quite correctly, that for knowledge of treason, we will have to wait for Hussein's records to be released. (Her book was based mainly on the declassification and release in 1995 of the names of people who the Soviet Union paid to spy on the U.S. back in the forties and fifties)
