The only winners here (as usual) will be the lawyers.

That's what the RIAA has wanted all along. It's the big Record Labels that want to squash Napster, Kazaa, et al.

The RIAA has only been carrying water for the Big Labels because the Big Labels pay their salaries.

And why is the RIAA making such a big deal out of this song-swapping business? Does anyone have any statistics that their sales have acually gone down in the last 5-7 years?
