Why do care what Falwell does at his college?

I care what Fallwell does because he is--wrongly in my opinion--seen as a spokesmodel for Christians in this country.

They are not forcing anything on you.

I beg to differ. It's the moral crusaders like Fallwell and his students who aim to codify their own morals into law. These are the type of people who brought you prohibition and blue laws, and the ones who today support legal bans on contraception, conseusual sodomy, medical marijuana and the like. So yes, they are trying to force their views on me and limit my--and everyone else's--freedom.

Maybe you just feel guilty because you could not lead that type of life without being miserable.

You're absolutely right that I couldn't lead that type of life without being miserable, but I can promise you there is zero guilt involved.

First...Liberty and most Christian Colleges are geared for people who want to continue in the ministry in some way. So it is not for everybody.

I am sure that the world is much better off with more abortion, rap music, Drugs, gay rights and whatever. The way you want it I guess.

The point is...everybody draws lines. Why do you care where Falwell draws his? His influence is mostly at Lynchburg, just don't go there.

I guess you dislike Franklin Grahamn for the same reasons. I got news for all of you on this board downing Falwell. Anyone who tries to live a good moral life will be held up for ridicule. I am sorry, but the bible is not out of date now nor will it ever be in the future.

Jesus said above all love thy neighbor as thyself. If Christians would do more of this, especially towards other Christians, things would be a whole lot better.

These liberty folks are not your enemy.

Any proof that Falwell wants to ban contraception, outlaw homosexual acts between consenting adults, etc? Or is that just your assumption of what he wants?

And every law is an imposition of morality, even laws that would lift bans on drug use is an imposition of someone's morality. Please don't pretend that the religious right are the only ones trying to "impose" their morals.
