It is proof that prior to the FIRST gulf war Iraq had a weapons program, and proclaiming that is like annoucing bill clinton is a sex fiend, not much of a secret.

if anything it is proof that Iraq didn't have an active program at the time of the second gulf war, because if they didn't they wouldn't have left the stuff to rot in a guys back yard.

"It is proof that prior to the FIRST gulf war Iraq had a weapons program..."

OK, I'll grant that is true.

"if anything it is proof that Iraq didn't have an active program at the time of the second gulf war, because if they didn't they wouldn't have left the stuff to rot in a guys back yard."

NOT granting you that one, bub. All it means that they had somethng they weren't supposed to have, and lied about it. It bears no indication on how long ago it had been used, or what future lay in store for the equipment.

Please stop the troll business.

This ex-Iraqi disagrees with you about the potential danger of what he had.

"I have very important things at my disposal that I have been ordered to have, to keep, and I've kept them, and I don't want this to proliferate, because of its potential consequences if it falls in the hands of tyrants, in the hands of dictators or of terrorists," said Obeidi, who has been taken out of Iraq with the help of the U.S. government.
Aren't you the least bit nervous being out on that limb that CNN was sitting on this ? Don't you wonder what else has been embargoed ?

It wasn't left to rot in some guys back yard it was cached in the back yard of a Iraqi nuclear scientist. By "cached " I mean carefully wrapped/packaged in a protective container & deliberately concealed by being buried in the back yard of an individual who has the technical training to understand that the item is prohibited to the govt. of Iraq since it was part of a nuclear weapons procurement program.

It is proof that Saddam hid this stuff with the specific intent of reinstating the nuke program when the coast was clear.

It is also proof that while Saddam Hussein lied about having this stuff and that the UN knew about it, protected them and that Hans Blix was the cartoon character most of us thought he was.

If he wasn't supposed to have it, why was it buried in this man's rose garden?

Get a lick of sense in ya, will ya?
