I became a lightning rod for political and ideological battles waged over America's future and a magnet for feelings, good and bad, about women's choices and roles. She gives herself too much credit. Which lends credence to a point I've been mulling over, that it isn't so much her politics that is offensive, but her arrogance and self-agrandizement that is her main offense (followed by her politics).
