Heh heh . . . Jeff Gordon posting on a thread about a gay congresscritter . . . not that there's anything wrong with that.
Jeff's totally straight. Of course. ;)
But I was sure glad that Robby beat him this weekend.

Please provide information that proves that children are being hurt
Define "hurt"! Do you want to allow child porn? Well a nudist camp for children is as worse as child porn. If the children were with their parents that's all right. Only in the presence of their parents - personally. But nudism practised by parentally unsupervised children should be against the law. We are all born very stupid and vulnerable - ask your mother.

Child porn exploits children. Also it depends on what one considers child porn.
A twelve year old girl in a picture being abused is worse than child porn, it's pure evil and worthy of death. A 15 year old German girl running along the beach is just a pic where nobody was hurt, yet some go to jail for such. That's not right.
A crime being commited requires a victim or some kind of harm. Unfortunatly we've come to criminalize activities we don't approve of, victim or not.
But nudism practised by parentally unsupervised children should be against the law. We are all born very stupid and vulnerable.
Are the kids any less vulnerable with their clothes on? IOW, do you think a nude child suddenly becomes more gullible?

You have the right idea in mind. Instead of this Foley spending our tax money trying to get bill passed, why doesn't he just pay to put a fence around the nudist camp?

Maybe that's because you don't have a problem with child molestation.

I have copied the relevant part of my Post #47 because I doubt your competence in scrolling back to it.
"Ok, How are they at risk that ordinary kids at camp are not at risk? EXACTLY HOW?"

They're at risk A.) because you are putting nude 11 year olds next to nude 18 year olds. B.) Because the added incentive to view NAKED kids is enough to attrack pedophiles to the camp. IT HAS ALREADY HAPPENED. People have snuck on, taken pictures of the kids and even touched them inappropriately. Or maybe that's not a big deal to u, as long as we don't have the government step in and do its job. God forbid.

Gays make up a single digit (IMO less than 1%) of the of the population, but over 30% of the perps in child molestation.Thats debatable, it may actually be higher. Sadly, alot of christian right groups take that number based on the belief that since gays are such a small part of the population, and the populace is overwhelming straight, logically, by just sheer numbers, you would have more straight molesters then gay, they should have actually attacked the studies directly in how they were done.
The studies re-classified who was and was not gay. Bisexual was considered straight, if somone was married, and molested boys, even if the marriage was a fraud, they were labeled straight, and if somone molested boys all the time, but molested a girl once, straight. They even went so far as to include statuory cases. In some of the cases, a person saying they are gay, might not have given them the label. My personal guess, I think its more then 50% of molesters that are gay.

Is it the case that homos are more often child molestors - or is that rumor only?Pretty much, a part of the gay agenda that they fight for, according to gay groups, is to lower the age of consent.
I believe ruth ginsberg in the 70's while working for the ACLU tried to get the age laws lowered on behalf of some gay clients.

Who even cares? What does gay or straight have to do with this? We're talking about kids being at risk and you people are all fixated with who people want to sleep with. THIS is why these kids need the help of authorities!!!

Kids have no trouble getting naked all by themselves. I don't see how this increases any risk.
B.) Because the added incentive to view NAKED kids is enough to attrack pedophiles to the camp. IT HAS ALREADY HAPPENED. People have snuck on, taken pictures of the kids and even touched them inappropriately.
Pedophiles are attracted to every camp.
You don't get out much do you?
Or maybe that's not a big deal to u, as long as we don't have the government step in and do its job. God forbid.
You sound just like Sarah Brady talking about guns.
People need to take a little personal responsibility for themselves and their children. It is the Governments job to catch pedophiles and prosecute them, not interfere in the lives of its innocent citizens.

Oh ya, that's why people get extra years for premeditated crimes then? If you think it's the authorities job to wait until kids die then act, you sadly are mistaken.

Who even cares? What does gay or straight have to do with this? Nothing, somone else asked a question and I was responding to somones post. In this particular case, I think Foley, right or wrong, is just doing this for publicity.

Oh yes. Children's eyes are searching and they often try what looks like fun. And try they will, if not individually guarded. The lack of clothing definitely makes it way too easy and tempting, besides giving an implicit permission and encouragement.
A 15 year old German girl running along the beach...
It applies to German girls too.

I note with sadness that the reign of Queen Victoria has not ended, and that so many of my countrymen are among her subjects.
This is probably the most closely-monitored child camp in the world, but that is apparently irrelevant, because the idea of nude children running around offends the medieval sensibilities of some who brand the human body as "obscene".
I, for one, refuse to accept the judgment of a few over that of God, who created us, and made us in His image. Is God, therefore, obscene, too?
Ignorance masquerading as religious piety serves the Prince of Darkness, not the Prince of Peace.
To brand that made in God's own image as "obscene" is blasphemy, nothing more, nothing less.
