If Davis resigns, that would make former Mecha member Cruz Bustamante the new governor. Somehow, I think that might even be worse than Davis, especially since any criticism of him would be smeared with the standard racism chant, even when pointing out he used to belong to a racial separatist organization.

That would just about complete Mexifornia's annexation to Mexico. As you well know, MeCHA is at the forefront of the "reconquista" movements that seek to take over the Southwest and have it become a part of Mexico, or at least answerable to Mexico as a mexican territory. MeCHA and its ilk have been very open about their goals. Mexifornia will cease to be a part of the U.S., in any real sense, if Bustamente becomes governor. You will also see a mass exodus OUT of Mexifornia, which will further devestate its already bankrupt economy. We will see the corruption that is so prevalent in Mexico take firm hold in Sacramento.
