4-0?? for Rice!

But of course,...now the score most probably won't be cardinal numbers!

My point, exactly. What a year!

No doubt about the loss to OU in football. Not much shame in that. Look at the football final top 10 in all the polls:

AP Top 10
1. Ohio State (71)
2. Miami (FL)
3. Georgia
4. USC
5. Oklahoma
6. Texas
7. Kansas State
8. Iowa
9. Michigan
10. Washington State

USA Today/ESPN
1. Ohio State
2. Miami (FL)
3. Georgia
4. USC
5. Oklahoma
6. Kansas State
7. Texas
8. Iowa
9. Michigan
10. Washington State

BCS
1. Miami (FL)
2. Ohio State
3. Georgia
4. USC
5. Iowa
6. Washington State
7. Oklahoma
8. Kansas State
9. Notre Dame
10. Texas

Like I said, How 'bout them Horns!

8 to zip now.

What was the Stanford coach thinking, intentionally walking a guy with nobody out and a man on first?

Here in Omaha and pulling for the Owls. I spent ten years in Houston and another five in Austin before being ship to Nebraska. And though I wanted Texas to repeat, I'm a Rice fan now.

Stanford has 1 hit (double) thru six.

If they have a rally monkey, they'd better uncage him now.

Well, there's a pretty nice one across the street from Rosenblatt. Don't think it will help the Indians tonight.

This game notwithstanding, a great CWS this year.

No home-run derbys. Good pitching and fundamental baseball.

The new format is great. I'd love to see them go back to a true double-elimination format, but I understand the problems with TV, etc. This is a good compromise.

I know the innocent looking farm girl brunette rates higher on "who you prefer" surveys, but I think that glamour puss actress is HOT!

You would think that NoCal sports teams would be getting tired of getting their butts kicked when it counts.
