I have seen the results of Islam's influence on young people here in Portland. There is a huge square down town. Young people hang out and play hacky sack (footbag).
Young men who are obviously from Arab countries were staring at these hacky sackers and their faces are filled with rage. Very strange. There was another factor: young women and young men were playing together. The gulf between their culture and ours appears to be so wide and so deep -- rage over a game?
