It seems kind of strange that so many want to find WMD's. This after the same individuals spend so much time declaring that the administration did not deceive the public by saying there were WMD's.

I have visited with Hagel one on one and can tell you he is not an airhead. Vietnam left a lasting impression on him and he is very concerned that any military man that is exposed to danger is there for a real cause defending the US. It is too bad that most people have not had the experience to appreciate the loss of human life.

It is easy to spout off and call an independent thinker any name that comes to mind without considering that person's background and the reasons for his thinking. Hagel is honest in his beliefs and that is more than you can say for most of our politicians and their followers who are more interested in manipulating public opinion than honest beliefs.

What's so strange about wanting to find WMDs? Do you want them floating around in God-knows-whose hands? I don't. I want them secured.
